Understanding
Conducted user interviews to determine what the issues were surrounding finding and purchasing decor for their residence. Assumptions prior to research: users don’t see the value of buying artwork from a gallery, users are intimated by galleries and patrons of galleries are of a specific socio-economic background. Assumptions after research: users are interested in buying artwork however there are some barriers such as busy schedules, installation availability and not knowing what to buy.

Next Steps

Add another accessibility option for users, such as ability to change text to another language. This will include and engage a lot more people who may be interested in just viewing the artwork or if they want to buy.
Add a few more customization options for users such as favorites. Making it easier for users to find items they like all in one spot.
Add a 3D or video feature for each piece of artwork for the users who are unable to physically see the artwork. This will make the experience more authentic for them and make the user feel like they are there.
